I really didn’t know what to expect at the Global Spa Summit which officially began today in Aspen but I will say that that I’m very happy I’m here. Today’s keynote speakers were remarkable – smart, articulate and engaging and their talks dared to grapple with serious issues which affect all of us – climate change, state of the world economy, sustainability and how spa can play a larger role in promoting health, wellness and community.
The conference’s theme is ‘Innovation Through Imagination. Representatives from 40 countries are in attendance and my hat is off to Susie and Pete Ellis for organizing this incredible conference.
ASTECC is well represented. I”m joined by Board members Nancy Griffen and Mary Bemis. Loren Kornreich and Kristi Dickinson will be joining us tonight. Love the meeting of minds and ideas and the spirit of oneness.
