Join ASTECC Founder Anne Bramham at IECSC New York

Attention estheticians and massage therapists! You have a unique opportunity to train with ASTECC founder Anne Bramham at IECSC New York April 22-24. For the fourth consecutive year, IECSC hosts the ASTECC program—widely regarded as the gold standard for spa therapy education. Check out the IECSC NY conference program for information on the Spa Business Education and all of the ASTECC classes.

“Partnering with IECSC has been a great experience. It offers us the opportunity to introduce the curriculum to practitioners who had only heard about us,” says Anne. “Practitioners are hungry for information, and I love meeting and working with them. It’s always exciting to share information.”

On Sunday April 22, therapists can earn 5 NCBTMB credits for attending the Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage course. Students will become familiar with the anatomy of the lymph vessel system and learn MLD techniques from Dr. Vodder’s Basic Neck and Face program. Attending students will receive a $100.00 voucher toward any ASTECC sponsored training.

The following day attendees can take advantage of three courses approved by NCBTMB for 2 CE units.  First, Anne will teach Skin Analysis & Treatment Planning. By understanding how to identify the underlying source of common conditions such as skin eruptions, acne, inflammation, puffy eyes and pigmentation, students gain insight as to how to implement an effective plan of therapeutic action.

Next is The Perfect Touch Aroma Reflex, combining intentional touch with the use of essential oils to balance the body. Inspired by Oriental face and body reading, this subtle light touch rejuvenating therapy explores the connection between body and mind. Attending students will receive a “constitutional based” essential oil for personal use.

Anne finishes the afternoon with The Art & Science of Practical Hydrotherapy, a hands-on workshop that features low-cost, high-return hydrotherapy techniques. Lecture details the influence of temperature on the circulatory system. Practical training includes instruction in contrasting temperature facial compresses. Attendees of the 2-hour classes receive a $50.00 voucher towards any ASTECC training.

Anne joins the ranks of the Spa Business Conference on Tuesday morning to teach the course Inspiration, Value and the Art of Spa Development. This session explores the vital role of treatment programs in creating an identity that reflects the values and intentions of your property—regardless of size and scope.
